Greetings from your Huron County Republican Women Club.  2008 was a busy and hard-fought election year.  We experienced a few disappointments; we had some wonderful successes!  Congressman Bob Latta remains in Washington promoting the interests of the 5th Congressional District of Ohio and Terry Boose has already begun his work in Columbus!  Larry Silcox and Gary Bauer have taken their seats as our County Commissioners and Susan Hazel, Huron County Clerk of Courts and Dr. Jeff Harwood, County Coroner, remain in their positions for another four year term!  We let our voices be heard and our wishes known on a number of statewide issues.

 

Below is our 2009 schedule of meetings and events as it currently stands; some details will be filled in at a later date:

·        Presidents’ Day Meeting -   Feb. 16th; 12:00 noon at Berry’s Restaurant, Norwalk,

·        The Lincoln Dinner - April 2, 2009, Norwalk Eagle’s Club

·        Summer Picnic – June/July

·        Huron County Fair Republican Booth -  Aug. 17 – 22, 2009

·        Quarterly Meeting – 3rd week of September

·        Dec. 3, 2008, 2009 Annual Meeting
