Greetings from your Huron County Republican Women's Club

 

What issues are on your mind as we enter into a heavily contested 2008 election year?    Are you concerned about state of education for our children?  Are you troubled by how decisions in Congress are made and those who are making them?  Or are you concerned about the leadership of the State of Ohio?  Curious as to how our Ohio tax dollars are spent?  Maybe you concerns are more local.  Would you like to learn more about the candidates for County Commissioner or for State Representative?  Would you like to meet and discuss your thoughts with our candidate for Sheriff?

 

Below is our 2008 schedule of meetings and events as it currently stands; some details will be filled in at a later date:

·        Sept. 24, 2008  General Meeting - We will be holding our quarterly HCRWC meeting on Wednesday., September 24th  at noon at Berry's Restaurant in Norwalk, Ohio.   Karen Justice and Julie Murdock will report on their experiences at the Ohio Federation of Republican Women Fall Conference.  Additionally, we will be discussing the upcoming McKinley Dinner and its fund-raiser. 
 

·        Dec. 4, 2008, 2008 Annual Meeting

 

The following persons have been elected as officers of the Huron County Republican Womenʼ s Club for a two year term beginning January, 2008, and ending in December, 2010:

 

President: Julie Murdock, Wakeman, Ohio

Vice President: Karen Justice, Bellevue, Ohio

Secretary:  Rachel Webb, Norwalk, Ohio

Treasurer: Sharon Harwood, Norwalk, Ohio

2008 is underway and we are gearing up for what promises to be a very busy, and potentially, very rewarding year!  As November appoaches we are committed to a lot of hard work supporting our causes and candidates which best represent us. We truly look forward to the McCain/Palin ticket winning with Huron County's and Ohio's help.

We invite you to join the HCRWC.  Gather with us throughout the year for lunches or light bites, hear from our candidates, and speak out about those issues which most concern you.  Help the Huron County Republican Party and its candidates put the right people in office so that your concerns may be heard and addressed.


 Stand up for the sound principles in which you believe; stay informed of the candidates and issues which will impact your life.  Your involvement and support of the HCRWC can help to provide strong and sound leadership for this country, state, county and local areas.
